Thu, 31 December 2009 ![]() JOE'S PODHOLE Episode 7: Since we're hell-bent on not forgetting old acquaintances this New Year"s Eve, Joe’s Podhole has decided to feature one of our faves. Eddie Spaghetti of the seminal rock band, SUPERSUCKERS! Die-hard fans of the band may already know that these guys are wrapping up a three-night residency at Reggie’s in Chicago, all of which ends tonight in a beer-chuggin, fist-pumpin, titty-swingin New Year’s Eve blowout! Sadly, most of you won’t be there. You’ll be getting loaded at home watching Ryan Douchecrest bore the nation from Times Square. But never fear, for WE HAVE AN ALTERNATIVE!!! Play this episode of Joe’s Podhole starting at 10:26 pm tonight, and you’ll ring in the new year with Eddie, Scottzilla and the podhole crew! No foolin. You'll actually count down to midnight with the fellas. You’ll also hear the best Supersuckers Podhole interviews from the past three years. Need a Mid-Fi update? Need a fix of Paul The Neighbor? We’ve got that too. Need music? We'll be your daddy. We’ve included a shitload of Supersuckers tunes to keep this party rolling right up until the ball drops at midnight. If you can’t be in Chicago having your pants rocked off by the band, this podcast is the next best thing! If you’re down with Supersuckers, this is your chance to make podcasting history that will easily be forgotten by generations to come. Don’t blow it. The time is now. Remember, start this show at 10:26 pm tonight for the maximum new-year’s eve effect! All Supersuckers songs played on this show can be found at the Podsafe Music Network (music.podshow.com). Transitional Music was First Date by Danko Jones, Hotel Hippy Hangout by Zombie Met Girl, and The Banishment by Prong. Muzak by Al Philip and the Woo Team. Comments[19] |
